As members of The British Christmas Tree Growers Association we pride ourselves in growing quality trees.  

The trees grown here at Welford are planted between January and April each year. The trees are all carefully looked after, which involves specialised fertilising, pruning and shaping of the trees. Weed control must also be done, traditionally this is achieved by spraying chemicals. However we now control the weeds which grow between the trees by the use of Shropshire Sheep, which has been proven to be a successful and environmentally friendly method of weed control.
